IN QUEST OF THE CLASSICS
I've been in the travel industry for 31 glorious years, and until I organized (with the invaluable help of Sina and Danytur) my first fam trip to Turkey (in October 2001) I thought Ireland was the ultimate fam destination! Did I (and all those who went with me) get an eye-opener! Turkey is brilliant! The sights, the food, the value, and (most important) the genuine warmth and hospitality of the people... just amazing. And the 3 days of sailing along the Turquoise Coast in those gulets... WOW! The October 2001 trip was such a success that Sina and I immediately organized a second fam for May 2002, and this one turned out to be even more spectacular as it included Cappadocia - an area not visited in October. Once again, every small detail went off to perfection and I cannot say enough about our guide (Cemil), the crew on the gulets (especially the cooks!), the staff of Danytur, and the dedication to detail of Sina Danyal. We are already planning a third fam in May 2003, and I cannot wait to escort it.

I could not recommend the services of Danytur more warmly. I had the chance of experiencing a fam trip to Istanbul and Antalya and it was a wonderful trip. Our guide was extremely interesting, giving us great historical and current information about what we were visiting and his country. Meals and hotels were excellent, and we enjoyed a memorable day aboard a gulet. I've been longing to return to Turkey ever since and visit more of this fantastic

I have had the pleasure of being on two separate trips to Turkey and was fortunate enough to have Danytur as my host. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very personable. The itineraries were educational as well
as relaxing. The hotels were always in very convenient locations. The vehicles were clean, spacious and comfortable. I can't stop talking about the wonders of Turkey. The 1-day private tour you arranged for me on Tuesday, August 23 was excellent - thanks to Cemal, the expert tour guide whose last name I unfortunately forget. He was incredibly knowledgeable, very pleasant, and professional. His English was excellent - in fact better than what most Americans speak... We not only went to the important tourist sites, but visited some lesser-known spots which were equally beautiful and special. Please extend to him my thanks.
I highly recommend him for future private tour requests you receive. Private tours are an important alternative to bus tours - particularly for professionals visiting Istanbul such as myself. We may be there for work, but of course want to save some time to see the city's beautiful sites. As well, we prefer to see less, but spend more time at each site, so that we can learn as much as possible.
Finally, I think there is demand for private tours for women, particularly professionals. We turn to the internet for information because there is little time to do advance research. Faced with a large unfamiliar city and language difference, we feel much more comfortable seeing the sites and learning our way around when we can do so at our own pace with a trustworthy guide.

Have just returned to work after our holiday overseas. The yacht charter was fantastic. The Captain and crew were professional but also friendly and helpful. They ensured our trip was a memorable one. The food was fabulous. We will certainly be planning another trip some time in the future. I got home from the airport only a couple of hours ago… As I hope you realized … I personally think of you as friends because of the absolutely wonderful service you all gave us right up to the very end of our stay in Istanbul (Ali probably told you of the problem that suddenly appeared on our way to the airport and how he helped us with that, too)...
Elena and Sina: I was just telling my family how wonderful Istanbul is. I hope to be able to go back with my husband to enjoy the many wonders of Turkey in a more relaxed way. But no matter how many times I return to Turkey , last week will always be unforgettable to me thanks to your efforts, your professionalism and your excellent standards of service.
